400 gDr. Oetker Nona Rice Flour
1 tbspDr. Oetker Nona Tapioca Starch
1250 mlWater
For Yam Cake (B)
3 tbspCooking Oil
3 clovesGarlic (chopped)
3Shallots (chopped)
100 gDried Prawns (chopped)
600 gTaro (cut into 1.5 cm cubes)
For Seasoning
1 tspFive Spice Powder
2 tspSalt
1 tspWhite Pepper (Groud)
For Garnishing
1 tbspCooking Oil
150 gDried Prawns (fried & ground finely)
Crispy Fried Shallots
Spring Onions
Red Capsicum
For Sauce
100 mlChilli Sauce
100 gSweet Sauce

Combine all ingredients A into batter, sieve and set aside.

Heat oil over medium heat, saute garlic and shallots till fragrant and light brown.

Add in dried prawns and saute till fragrant. Add in seasoning and taro cubes, stir fry for 30 seconds.

Add in rice flour batter and adjust to taste.

Stir over low heat until batter thickens. Pour into a greased 9" tray and steam over boiling water for 40 minutes or until cake set. Remove from heat.

Leave to cool and cut into pieces. Garnish and serve with sweet sauce and chilli sauce.
