Sausages in Pizza Blankets

Preparation time: approx. 20 minutes

Ingredients for 8 portions:

1 box Dr. Oetker Ristorante Pizza Mozzarella
4 Sausages

Equipment: Chopping board, knife, oven, wooden skewers

Method:

  1. Remove the Dr. Oetker Ristorante Pizza Mozarella from the packaging and film and leave to defrost for about 60 minutes. Preheat the oven (top and bottom heat: 220˚C).
  2. Cut the pizzas in half down the middle. Wrap tightly inside the dough. Cut off the ends and slice each roll into approx. 8 evenly-sized portions.
  3. Then pierce each portion with a wooden skewer. Place the sausages in pizza blankets on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake on the middle shelf in the oven for 15 minutes. After baking, set aside to cool, remove the skewer sticks and serve.

Tip from Tom: Leave the pizza to thaw completely so that it doesn’t tear when rolling. If there are left overs, just bake them in the oven and snack them as chips.
