Dissolve sugar in a pan at low heat until sugar turn brown. Pour in water and stir for a while before adding butter. Keep stirring until butter dissolved.
Add in fruit mix, keep cooking until mixture boils. Turn off the heat and set aside (until mixture is warm)
Gradually add in sieved ingredients, stir well.
In a separate bowl, beat eggs at high speed for 1 minute. Pour eggs and vanilla flavour into the batter, stir slightly. Do not over stir.
Pour batter into a 20cm baking pan, steam at medium heat for 2 hours.
When cake is cooked, open the cover and let the cake cool down in steamer.
Remove cake from pan when it is properly cooled down.
